My name is Christie Garcia and I am a Social Studies teacher at Bellville Junior High. I was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas, graduated from Edinburg High School, graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American (now UTRGV) with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, then began my teaching career. I have taught multiple grade levels, taught multiple content areas, designed curriculum, & trained school district staff in teaching strategies, literacy, leadership, and technology. I moved to BISD in August 2021 to join the Brahma family & am entering my 21st year of doing what I LOVE!
