BJHS Parents - Car line Reminders

Our first week of school is almost finished.  The new car line has been outstanding!  It is usually week 3 or 4 before the afternoon carline finishes at 4:00.  We have finished before 4:00 for the last 2 days!!!  Morning drop off has finished before 7:50 all but the first morning!  YOU ARE DOING GREAT!  Here are some reminders to keep the car line moving efficiently:

*****If you have other people pick up your student (grandparents, neighbors etc.) make sure they are aware of the car line procedures.*****

• AM DROP OFF - Traffic will be released to enter the car line at 7:15 am.

• Pull all the way up to position 1 past the flagpole (or pull all the way up to the car in front of you) to unload.  

  • Students should unload along the sidewalk, from Position 1, all the way up to where you first enter the parking lot. When parents pull all the way up, and students get out from one end of the sidewalk to the other, we can get 10 cars at a time!)

  • Students should have their things together and be ready to exit prior to entering the drop-off circle.  

• PM PICK UP - Traffic will be released to enter the car line at 3:15 pm.

  • Pull all the way up to position 1, past the flagpole (or pull all the way up to the car in front of you) to pick up your student.  Don’t stop when you see your student.  Pull all the way to the first position just past the flag pole (or pull all the way up to the car in front of you) and your student will walk to your car.

  • Students should load vehicles along the sidewalk from position 1, all the way up to where you first enter the parking lot.
