As part of our commitment to providing students with the tools they need for success, each student has been issued a Chromebook for the upcoming school year. While these devices are an important learning resource, they are also a significant investment. Students are responsible for them, similar to textbooks.

To help protect your family from unexpected costs due to accidental damage, loss, or theft, we strongly encourage you to purchase Chromebook Insurance. This coverage ensures that any necessary repairs or replacements can be handled quickly and at little to no cost to you.  Without insurance, families can be responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacement, which can range from $100 to $300+ depending on the damage.

• Insurance Cost: $29.95 per student per year
• Covers: Accidental damage, hardware malfunctions, theft, and loss (as outlined in the policy)
• Does not cover: Intentional damage, abuse, misuse.

• A separate policy must be purchased for each student/device in households with multiple students.
• All claims will be handled at the district level.
